Our kitten policy: Our goal is to raise happy healthy kittens to be wonderful companions, and each
one is special to us. We take time to get to know each kitten, and they are all loved as part of our family until they
become part of yours.
Because of this, we are NOT a pet store, and since our cattery is very small we really only have a few
litters per year.
When kittens are born, they remain with their mother in their own area until they are able to use the litter
box and have had their first shots. Then, they are moved to the 'kitten area', which is a large enclosure in our living
room. They can socialize with people and other kitties, and we handle them every day.
Most kittens are ready to go at about 12 weeks of age, after they have had their last set of kitten vaccinations.
Some may need to stay a little longer, but it will depend on the kitten. We try to do what is best for them, not what
is convenient for us. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES will we ever let a kitten go before they are 12 weeks old.
